Foot Care Nurses and podiatrist work together-but we serve different roles.
Podiatrists diagnose and treat medical coniditions that require specialized medical or surgical care. As Foot Care Nurses, our focus is on preventive foot care and ongoing maintenance to help keep feet healthy between visits.
Many podiatrists no longer provide routine foot care services. If we identify a concern that required medical evaluation, we will refer you to a trusted podiatrist or your healthcare provider.
