Who We Are
Katie Sikel, RN, BSN, CFCS
Nurse Owner
Katie Sikel, a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience, founded The Foot Nurse, LLC in 2016. Her nursing career includes work as a Cardiac Nurse at United Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and the VA Hospital, with the majority of her career spent in home care. During her 13 years in home care, Katie recognized a significant unmet need for foot care. Determined to fill this gap, she pursued specialized training and earned her certification in foot care. Since then, Katie has been dedicated to providing expert foot care and helping others maintain health and mobility.
Passionate about addressing the growing demand for quality foot care, Katie is committed to training other nurses and serving the community. In her free time, she enjoys raising her children, traveling, reading, and staying active.

Tracey
With 22 years of nursing experience, Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge from hospital care, home health, and travel nursing. Her compassionate nature and dedication shine through in every interaction.
She’s excited to have welcomed her first grandbaby and in her free time she loves being with family and friends, exploring new places, and enjoying outdoor adventures.

Shareen

Shareen brings a rich and varied nursing background to our team, with experience in the operating room, transitional care, home care, and medical necessity reviews. She loves being part of The Foot Nurse family, where she can focus on caring for one client at a time and truly connect on a personal level. When she’s not working, you’ll find Shareen spending time with her family and two cherished grandchildren, enjoying board games, or baking something delicious.

Liz

Liz has over 15 years nursing experience both in hospitals and clinics including the Mayo Clinic. She has worked in various specialties including Medical-Surgical, Dermatology, and Urology. Having grown up in the Twin Cities, providing care to our local community is deeply meaningful for her. Liz enjoys spending time with her family gardening, cooking, sports and traveling.

Delaney

Delaney graduated from Viterbo University in 2019 with her BSN and has experience across several specialties. She has most recently found her love for one-on-one patient care with The Foot Nurse. She also serves as Marketing Assistant and Clinical Informatics Specialist. In her free time, you can find Delaney reading, kayaking, traveling, attending a concert, or spending time with her husband, daughter, and two cats.

Nicolle

Nicolle has 20 years of nursing experience including hospital, home, and clinic settings. She brings her expertise across many disciplines including foot care and wound care to provide her patients with the direct care she loves most. She also serves The Foot Nurse in Community Relations and as Lead RN. Nicolle enjoys spending time in Northern Minnesota with her husband and two dogs.

Kjersti

Kjersti is a registered nurse with over 27 years of experience in healthcare, including hospital nursing, clinic leadership, and nursing education. She spent nearly a decade as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at St. Catherine University, where she trained and mentored future nurses while maintaining a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Kjersti is passionate about holistic nursing and supporting older adults as they navigate changes in health and mobility.
Outside of nursing, Kjersti enjoys music and finds great fulfillment in helping others maintain comfort, independence, and quality of life.

Krissy has been a registered nurse for four years and has spent many years caring for others in a variety of healthcare settings. She also works in post-surgical nursing at the hospital, where she enjoys helping patients through their recovery.
Krissy is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care and helping her patients stay active and comfortable. In her free time, she enjoys biking and making memories with her family.
