Safe, Preventative Foot Care You Can Trust

Foot care is especially important for individuals living with diabetes. At The Foot Nurse, we provide specialized diabetic foot care in the Twin Cities Metro, helping reduce risk and maintain healthy feet through in-home and clinic services.

We care for clients of all ages managing diabetes.

Why Professional Diabetic Foot Care Matters

Diabetes can have a significant impact on foot health, often in ways that are not immediately noticeable. Changes in circulation and nerve function can make even minor foot issues more serious if they go untreated.

Over time, diabetes may lead to:

  • Reduced circulation, which can limit blood flow to the feet and slow the body’s ability to heal

  • Nerve damage (neuropathy), causing numbness or decreased sensation—making it harder to feel cuts, pressure, or injuries

  • Delayed healing, increasing the risk that small issues can develop into more serious concerns

Because of these factors, even something as simple as a small cut, callus, or improperly trimmed nail can lead to complications if not properly managed.

Regular, professional foot care helps:

  • Detect concerns early before they worsen

  • Reduce pressure areas and prevent skin breakdown

  • Maintain healthy nails and skin

  • Lower the risk of infection and more serious complications

At The Foot Nurse, we provide careful, preventative care through both in-home visits and clinic appointments, helping clients of all ages manage their foot health safely and confidently.
